Overview

This module provides an in-depth understanding of physical security controls essential for protecting organizational assets. Learners will explore the principles of effective site layout, fencing, and lighting to deter unauthorized access. The module covers the use of gateways, locks, and access control mechanisms, alongside the strategic deployment of security guards and surveillance cameras. In order to identify and address possible security risks, students will also study alarm systems and sensor technologies, ensuring a comprehensive approach to safeguarding people, property, and information.
