This hands-on, practical course equips participants with the vital skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies, sudden illnesses, and life-threatening injuries. Designed for workplace safety wardens, caregivers, and everyday individuals, this training covers critical lifesaving techniques that can stabilize a casualty until professional medical help arrives.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Assess emergency scenes quickly and safely to minimize further risk.

  • Recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, stroke, choking, and severe allergic reactions.

  • Perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants.

  • Operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and efficiently.

  • Manage common trauma situations, including severe bleeding, burns, fractures, and shock.

1. Emergency Scene Management Initial assessment, prioritizing casualties (triage), infection control, and activating emergency medical services.
2. Life Support Skills (CPR & AED) High-quality chest compressions, rescue breaths, and seamless integration of an AED for sudden cardiac arrest.
3. Airway Emergencies Identifying and clearing partial and complete airway obstructions (choking) for conscious and unconscious victims.
4. Medical Emergencies & Trauma Managing heart attacks, strokes, seizures, diabetic crises, severe bleeding, burns, and bone/joint injuries.
5. Environmental & Sudden Illnesses Recognizing and treating heat stroke, hypothermia, poisoning, and severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).
