This short course provides essential knowledge and practical skills to identify, assess, and control electrical hazards in professional environments. Designed for both technical and non-technical personnel, the curriculum focuses on establishing a robust safety culture and preventing workplace accidents, injuries, and fatalities related to electrical systems.


Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common electrical hazards, including shock, arc flash, and arc blast.

  • Understand the physiological effects of electricity on the human body.

  • Implement standard safety protocols, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

  • Select and properly use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
